Background & Scope of Rebuild

This log will follow the progress on the cockpit forward rebuild of Vans RV-6A serial number 20360, currently N63TX. This kit was assembed and first flew in 1991. So it is a fairly old RV-6 with the original floor mounted rudder pedals, and a lot of the old features. The goal is to rebuild the forward part of the fuselage, firewall and FWF to the RV-7/9 specifications. The general scope of the work is outlined below.
